Carole Corcoran

Carole Corcoran is an attorney with close to four decades of experience dealing with legal and governance matters for corporate and not for profit clients, operating domestically with overseas operations. She most recently spent close to 20 years as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Director of Special Projects for International Crisis Group, a non-governmental organization whose operations span five continents (2001-2019). She currently sits on the Board of Freedom House, Jewel Heart International and The Gelek Rimpoche Foundation, where as President, she directs the development, preservation, and distribution of Gelek Rimpoche’s extensive archive. She is a member of The Council of Foreign Relations and the New York Bar.
